Agumbe Rainforest Run

The Cherrapunji of the South, best in the rain.

3 days550 kmModerate4–8 riders

About This Tour

Agumbe is the wettest place in South India — a rainforest ghat where the monsoon turns the road into a ribbon between waterfalls and mist. Ridden deliberately in the rain, this three-day run is a moody, atmospheric alternative to sunny touring: the Agumbe sunset ghat, the Sringeri temple town, and the hidden Sirimane falls, all under a canopy that drips green. For riders who love the wet.

Highlights

  • The Agumbe rainforest ghat in full monsoon
  • Sunset point over the Western Ghats
  • The Sringeri temple town
  • Sirimane falls at peak flow
