John's obsession with two wheels began at eleven, the moment he first throttled a TVS 50 — one ride, and he never looked back. A Bajaj Chetak followed in his teens, then a Suzuki Shogun in college that hooked him on the dream of a superbike. For over two decades, though, life led elsewhere: a corporate career in telecom, leading engineering and support teams that connected millions. But every weekend and every vacation, he was on a motorcycle.

The dream never faded. Through a Bajaj Caliber, a Yamaha RX 135, and a Royal Enfield Classic 500, the passion stayed alive — until his wife pushed him to stop postponing it. That led to his first superbike, a Harley Iron 883 he customised to make entirely his own, and to the open roads of South India: the Western Ghats, Coorg, the Nilgiris, Chikmagalur, the Konkan coast, and the backwaters of Kerala. Over the years he rode more than 40,000 kilometers, building friendships with local guides and mechanics and growing a weekend riding crew into a community of dozens.

When John retired from corporate life, the decision was instant — ride full-time. The Turing Company was born from a simple conviction: the best way to experience South India is from the seat of a motorcycle, and nobody should have to navigate the chaos alone. Every route is one he's ridden dozens of times, and every guide is someone he trained or grew up riding with.
