About This Tour
Karnataka's coast is the quieter, more soulful answer to Goa — temple towns, half-empty beaches, and the towering Murudeshwar Shiva statue looking out to sea. Over four relaxed days from Bangalore we drop down the ghats to Gokarna's pilgrim beaches, ride the coastal road past Murudeshwar, and detour to the strange rock towers of Yana. Easy cruising, sea breeze, and seafood the whole way.

Bangalore to Gokarna
A long, satisfying ride down the ghats to the coast, arriving at the pilgrim-and-beach town of Gokarna for a sunset on the sand.
Gokarna Beaches
A local day on foot and bike: the Mahabaleshwar temple, and the string of beaches — Om, Kudle, Half-Moon — linked by cliff paths.
Murudeshwar & Yana
Ride the coastal road to the giant Murudeshwar Shiva statue, then inland to the surreal Yana rock towers hidden in the forest.
Gokarna to Bangalore
Climb back off the coast and ride the ghats home to Bangalore.
