About This Tour
The remotest ride in India. From the Assam plains we climb into Arunachal's dense valleys — Bomdila, the apple town of Dirang, and over the 4,170-metre Sela Pass to Tawang, home to one of the largest monasteries in the world. Few riders, fewer roads, and Himalayan scenery on a scale that stops you mid-ride. Inner-line permits and paperwork handled by us.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Guwahati to Bomdila
Meet in Guwahati and climb into Arunachal, crossing into the hills to the monastery town of Bomdila.
Bomdila to Dirang
A short, scenic day to the apple-and-kiwi valley of Dirang, with its old dzong and hot springs.
Dirang to Tawang via Sela
The big one — over the 4,170m Sela Pass and its high lake, down past the Jaswantgarh memorial to Tawang.
Tawang
A local day at the vast Tawang Monastery, the Bumla road, and the high, quiet Madhuri (Sangetsar) lake.
Tawang to Dirang
Recross the Sela in the morning light, back to Dirang.
Dirang to Nameri / Bhalukpong
Descend to the foothills and the forests along the Assam border.
Bhalukpong to Guwahati
The final run across the plains to Guwahati. Farewell dinner.
Depart Guwahati
Transfer to the airport for onward flights.
